Did you know that you can make your own unique blog layout?
The HTML and CSS for FC2's Blogs can be edited without restriction allowing you to make your own unique layout design.
The image below is an example of the layout of a blog:
However, because the parts of a blog such as the blog entry, layout design, side parts, etc. are managed separately the blog as a whole is easier to manage and edit. Entries will not be deleted if the design template is altered and conversely, templates and blog parts will not be affected if entries are deleted. All changes to the template design will be automatically applied to the corresponding pages.
A newly posted entry will be added to the top page.
Entries are automatically listed in chronological order according to the time the entries were posted.
You can display single entries as simple units and each entry has their own set URL known as a "permanent link". By adding or deleting entries, the link for that entry will also be simultaneously added or removed from the entry link list. You also don't have to manually paste jump links between pages.
Furthermore, in the archive display you can see all entries posted in a specific month. Similarly, you can also extract entries by grouping them with categories, user tags, etc. Also, the sidebar is a plugin and you can add or remove blocks or change their order as you see fit and you don't even have to edit the template source.

In the 2 Column Layout image, the side bar is the blue section while the 3 Column Layout represents a layout with 2 side bars. A page without sidebars and only a main column is called a 1 column page. There are also top page-only layouts and variations of the 2 and 3 Column layout.
